Well it turns out that occcccasionally when you go through airport security your credit and debit cards can get demagnetized! So basically my credit card and atm cards don't work and it will take over a month to get new ones...sooo that sucks!!
Today I rode the micro (aka bus) for the first time alone! An adventure! Me and Kata live really close to Lider, the big Walmart type store. And I couldn't remember which stop was ours, so I just got off and Lider and walked home.
Classes start tomorrow! I only have classes on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday which is pretty awesome! But I have an 8am class on Wednesday which blooows. Liz and I have all the same classes and Kata and I have two classes in common. I hope that the classes aren't too hard and that I can understand what the professors are saying!
It is soooo fricking cold here! SO COLD!! And it was literally crazy down pouring today, like TSUNAMI status! So odvi I layed up and was wearing my rainjacket! Kinda wish I had brought my rain boots! But oh well! We went to la Oficina de Policía Internacional today to register as temporary Chilean citizens, which wasn't nearly as scary as it sounds!
I am taking four classes. One cine class, one composition class, one class on Chilean culture and one survey of literature class.
